Submitted by Jenny Drinkard, an Industrial Design graduate from Georgia Tech, Crates went from concept to shipping in under 100 days.

Developing Crates posed one of the most significant challenges in Quirky's history. With a strict 100-day shipping deadline, the decision to manufacture entirely in the United States added complexity, involving a toolmaker in New Jersey for the mold and final production in Vermont.

We created this video to tease the product launch as we didn't have physical samples ready for shooting. Our talented in-house animator, Ben Machado, crafted the spot from scratch, showcasing the innovation and excitement behind the Crates' journey to market.
