When I joined Quirky in 2011, the company had a modest presence in the market with just four products. As the Chief Design Officer, my primary responsibility was to expedite the process of bringing inventors' ideas to market and present them in an engaging manner. To achieve this, Quirky employed a team of photographers, retouchers, and renderers who worked tirelessly to create compelling product images and videos.

At Quirky, sharing knowledge with our community was a priority. Our in-house video team created informative training videos and hosted live workshops, fostering a learning environment where everyone could participate.

PRODUCT CATEGORIES

Initially, Quirky primarily focused on small electrical accessories. However, by 2015, the company had significantly expanded its product range, encompassing various categories such as kitchen, home, garden, power, and smart products. This expansion enabled Quirky to establish a presence in major retailers as well as expand its reach to international markets.

Quirky has launched over 450 products, 150 successfully manufactured and sold worldwide, resulting in significant profits for its community and inventors.
